Anniversary Dinner

1 Mins read

A few weeks ago, Fatima and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. To celebrate, we were going to go out to a dinner. However, a wonderful snow storm decided to come through NYC – again! The restaurant called the day before and said they were not sure if they would be closing early , but wanted to give me a heads up. I decided to cancel the reservations and make our anniversary dinner myself. I wanted to combine a bunch of our favorite foods: shrimp, guacamole, mac and cheese, green veggies, and donuts. Yes, a mix-matched dish, but quite delicious.

For dinner, I whipped up cajun shrimp over guacamole, spicy-garlic snow peas, and mac and cheese balls!

For dessert, I made cookies and cream donuts – yum, yum, yum!
