I love the snow. Growing up in New England, I was spoiled every winter with lots of snow. My favorite part of a snowstorm is in the last hour; when the world is quiet and last few snowflakes are falling from the sky. I’ve always wanted to go to Central Park and get photos of this untouched snow. However, I’m always too lazy to get up and out of bed.
There’s a high probability everyone and their mother will be at the grocery store the day before the snowstorm. So, go as early as you can and group your grocery list by aisle. Now is not the time to lallygag around the store. Pro tip: wear headphones and listen to your favorite songs while shopping. It tunes out the crazy people.
Whether you’re a set-it-and-forget-it kind of person or just looking for a hearty dish, we have a little something for everyone. And when you’re done working from home, be sure to whip up your favorite cocktail. Here’s a round-up of our favorite food and drinks to get us through any snowstorm.
