1 Mins read

Five Favorite Things two days in a row?? Yes! Usually, our Five Favorite Things posts are recaps of the month. However, we’re going to switch it up and tell you about what we’re looking forward to throughout the month in addition to other things we love! In terms of food, we’re going to come down from our sugar high of October and get back to comfort food. Thanksgiving is going to be chill. Just food and family.

Here’s a round-up of our five favorite things for November 2019! But how is it already November?!

1. Kale Super Smoothie

You’re going to want to keep this recipe on hand. It gives you a boost of healthy fruits and vegetables to get you through the holiday season.

2. Butternut Squash with Roasted Garlic

Add this to your Thanksgiving table. It’s easy and flavorful. The roasted garlic and thyme pair so well with the cinnamon in the squash. It’s a simple dish that tastes like you put a lot of time into it.

4. Sweet Potato Pie

Fatima makes some of THE BEST sweet potato pies. Unfortunately, we have to wait for Thanksgiving to have these pies. Fortunately, we’re almost there!

Keep those colds at bay with this immunity-boosting smoothie. It’s my all-time favorite drink when I feel like a cold is coming. I feel so much better after a few days of these smoothies.
