A quick appetizer that will appease the kids at your party, or their school lunch, are these Breakfast Sushi Bites. NO SUSHI INVOLVED! These are kid-friendly and are made with bananas, peanut butter, and Rice Krispies! These Breakfast Sushi Bites will take you less than 10 minutes to make.

Now, when I say “sushi,” don’t go picturing raw fish and seaweed. We’re keeping it real, super simple, and totally kid-approved. Think: banana goodness, creamy peanut butter (or your favorite nut-free spread alternative!), and the satisfying crunch of Rice Krispies. Yep, that’s it!

Ingredients

Units
  • 1 banana
  • Peanut butter (or sunflower butter for a nut free snack)
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Peel the entire banana, keeping it whole.
  2. Pour Rice Krispies in a large plate.
  3. In a thin layer, spread peanut butter with a knife over the entire surface of the banana.
  4. Roll banana in Rice Krispies.
  5. Slice banana into bite-sized pieces and serve.
