At Christmas, we recieved Ayesha Curry’s cookbook, The Full Plate. We hadn’t picked through until a few months ago, but as soon as we opened it, we couldn’t close it! Everything, and I mean everything, is good to eat. It reminds us a lot about Cravings.

Don’t get me wrong, I love cooking from recipes from famous chefs, people who live off of running restaurants and push the envelope on what you can do with food. But in a book of a hundred recipes, only five of them look appetizing or are easy to make. Ayesha Curry makes food you want to eat, and makes it easy.

Here’s what you need:

  • Mayo
  • Sweet relish
  • Ketchup
  • Brown sugar
  • Apple cider vinegar

I slathered this all over my burger. Soooo good.

The one and only time we’ve been to In-N-Out was on our trip to Maui. We stopped in LA for a few days before jumping over o Hawaii. We had to stop at In-N-Out because it’s a west coast thing. The verdict – meh. I mean, where else will you get a cheap burger that tastes so good? Nowhere. If I lived out there, yes, it would be my go-to place for a burger. But when you have Shake Shack to compare it to, it’s hard to put Shake Shack as your number two. BUT I will be making this special sauce every time we make burgers.
