The next Marquisrita is here and ready for you to try. This Elderflower Margarita has a bright taste of spring. While St. Germain is the obvious choice, I used elderflower cordial. We had a bottle from the lemon elderflower cake, and I wanted to experiment with cocktails.

I could not find this elderflower cordial anywhere except on Amazon. However, when we were in Target this weekend, we walked right by the cocktail serving section and there was an elderflower cocktail mixer. Smh.
A few years ago, we made St. Germain margaritas. They were delicious. Basically, substitute the cordial and triple sec for the St. Germain. So when I was going to make this elderflower margarita, I wanted to try to get that perfectly balanced lightness that you get from St. Germain. Lemon zest was a perfect fit.
