Blair was crystal clear: Paw Patrol, balloons, and vanilla cake. And that’s exactly how we celebrated our little guy turning the big THREE! It was a Paw Patrol birthday party extravaganza, and let me tell you, it was adorable.
Honestly, the birthday theme was a bit of a toss-up between Paw Patrol, Cars (again), and dinosaurs. But as the big day approached, Blair made his final decision, and Paw Patrol it was!

My boys are obsessed with Paw Patrol. This pup-tastic love affair started a few years back with our oldest, and Blair has totally caught the bug. This whole year has been all about the pups. For Christmas, we welcomed a new furry friend to his collection, and his birthday wish? You guessed it – another pup!
We kept the party pretty simple, focusing on the fun: pizza (Blair’s absolute favorite), cake, yummy appetizers, a colorful balloon display, and a super fun temporary tattoo station!
Paw Patrol Party Decorations: Keeping it Pup-tastic!
Balloons: Because what’s a birthday without balloons?! Our kids could spend all day playing with balloons (don’t yours?!). For birthdays, a dozen balloons, a delicious cake, and ALL the snuggles from mom and dad are absolute must-haves. I grabbed balloons in the core pup colors: red for Marshall, yellow for Rubble, blue for Chase, green for Rocky, orange for Zuma, and pink for Skye. A big foil “3” balloon, a giant Paw Patrol balloon, and a “Happy Birthday” banner completed the look. It was so festive!
Tattoos: Temporary tattoos are always a hit with this age group. I set up a little tattoo station with a bunch of Paw Patrol themed tattoos and made it look authentic!
Paw Patrol Birthday Cake: Topped with Pups!
- Paw Patrol figures (give them a good cleaning)
- See the full post for more details
Cake Toppers: I’m all about using toys as cake toppers! Like I’ve done with animals, Spider-Man, and Cars in the past, I used Blair’s Paw Patrol figures to decorate his cake. It’s a budget-friendly way to personalize the cake, and the kids love it!
Pro tip: Give those toys a thorough cleaning before they make their cake debut! Nobody wants cake with a side of dust bunnies. 😉
Paw Patrol Goodie Bags: Pup-Pack Full of Fun!
Goodie Bags: I found these perfect mini gift bags on Amazon. They were just the right size for all the goodies. I stuck with the core pup colors for the bags to keep the theme going. Inside, I included:
- Gift bags
- Paw Patrol racers
- Stickers
- Tattoos
- Snacks: popcorn, pup treats, fig bars, and M&Ms
The kids were thrilled with their goodie bags, and it was so easy to put together!
Tips for a Paw-some Party:
- Keep it simple: Don’t stress about making everything perfect. Focus on the fun and creating memories.
- Get the kids involved: Let them help with decorations, let them pick their themes, and celebrate how they want to celebrate.
- Embrace the theme: From the balloons to the cake toppers to the goodie bags, little touches make a big difference.
- Don’t forget the pizza! It’s always a crowd-pleaser and a stress-free meal for your party (we were not into cleaning the kitchen that day).
Blair’s Paw Patrol birthday party was a huge success! He had a blast, and we loved celebrating his special day with him. It was a reminder of just how much joy these little moments bring.
