Whoa! These monster cookies are delicious. Basically, if Cookie Monster dreamed of a cookie that had everything he loved in one cookie, this would be it. I saw these monster cookies pop up numerous times on Pinterest. After scrolling by the fifth pin, I just clicked. Then I fell into a rabbit hole of recipes.
Monster cookies have everything you love: m&ms, chocolate chips, peanut butter, and oatmeal. Although, I know oatmeal is 50-50 with some of you. I only like oatmeal in cookies with chocolate (sorry, not sorry, raisins). All of this rolled into lucious cookie dough and baked. However, they are even better when chilled, but I love an underbaked and slightly chilled cookie to begin with.
You need to try a batch of Monster Cookies
I baked a few variations of these cookies. I swapped out the peanut butter chips for butterscotch chips. Tried regular-sized m&ms vs. minis–same with chocolate chips. Made bigger cookies vs. smaller ones. No matter how you make these cookies, you can’t go wrong. I feel like you can swap in some of your favorite candy and make them your own. I brought these to a party over the weekend, and they were gone in about 2 minutes – all 30 of them, gone!
Here’s the recipe I’ve used and love. Let me know what you think!
