Guacamole with Bacon

1 Mins read

Guacamole is a favorite of mine.  It’s healthy and easy to make.  I love it on chips, toast, even grilled cheese!  Who knew that adding bacon to it would make it that much better?!  Feed your guests a hearty guacamole on game day.  You can use any bacon you want – you know how much we love our turkey bacon.

Ingredients:

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 3 slices of turkey bacon (or bacon of your choice)

Directions

  1. Cook your bacon to desired doneness.  I like mine burned and crunchy.
  2. Open the avocados and scoop out the insides.
  3. Blend the avocados until creamy
  4. Chop up onion, tomatoes, and bacon.
  5. Mix together with the avocado.
  6. Serve cold and enjoy!

Take the edge off heading into the New Year with a lavender lemonade mocktail. Yes, that’s right, a MOCKTAIL! We made this the other night and we were so relaxed, we passed out as soon as our heads hit the pillow. It’s a perfect mocktail to make when you want to chill out.
