Here’s the recipe I use on repeat all summer long. It’s easy, crowd-pleasing, and totally customizable.
Ingredients
- 1/2 can of frozen orange juice concentrate
- 3/4 blender of ice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup triple sec (or your favorite orange liqueur)
- Prosecco (Champagne or other sparkling wine
Instructions
- Fill your blender ¾ of the way with ice.
- Add the frozen orange juice concentrate.
- Pour in the orange juice and triple sec.
- Blend until smooth, like a grown-up smoothie.
- Pour the frozen mimosa base into glasses about ¼ full (or less, if you prefer a stronger Prosecco or champagne flavor).
- Top off each glass with chilled Prosecco or champagne.
- Serve immediately with a slice of orange or a sprig of mint for that brunch-y flair.
Notes
Pro Tip: While it would be easier to make the base ahead of time, it’s best made in the moment. I can’t get the consistency to stick, even when I put it back in the freezer.
