What are Boo Baskets, you ask? They’re like Easter Baskets. Instead of a ‘bunny’ delivering them, a ‘ghost’ delivers these baskets. Boo Baskets are just another excuse to fill something up with candy and goodies to give to kids.
This year, I was feeling extra festive and wanted to send my nephews and niece some goodies for Halloween. Target’s Halloween pails were only $1 and we found a lot of fun things to fill them up. We’re not able to see them often, so I thought this would be a fun little surprise to send their way.
Filling the Boo Baskets
What did we fill the baskets with? Mostly their favorite candy and snacks. However, we found a unique gift to include for each kid: Hot wheels, books, Jenga, and nail polish. TBH I was a little jealous of the glow in the dark nail polish.
For our kids’ baskets, we gave our youngest a set of cars and a book. Our oldest got all the fun snacks and some color changing cars (we let him pick the gift since he helped us shop).
