Description

These bean burger patties are crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with cheesy, savory flavor that both kids and adults will enjoy.

Ingredients

Units
  • 1 15oz can low-sodium cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons Panko
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped or minced
  • 1 tsp finely chopped Rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the beans with a fork or potato masher.
  2. Add in the egg whites and combine.
  3. Add the 2 tablespoons panko, cheese, garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper and combined together.
  4. Form 4 patties.
  5. Place the remaining panko on a plate and dredge both sides with panko.
  6. Heat oil in a medium pan on medium heat.
  7. Cook patties until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes for each side.
  8. Place on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
  9. Let cool to an appropriate temperature before serving.
