Number 5 – Plastic Bats

Use these different-sized bats to decorate your walls. These are an affordable and easy way to add a spooky element to your home. I decorate my walls and my kids’ dollhouse with these. They’re my favorite.

In the package, you get 120 bats, in 4 different sizes and styles. There are creases by each wing making it easy to fold them to your liking. They are made of waterproof PVC which makes them great for outdoor decoration and durable year after year. Before I bought these, I used to make these bats out of construction paper and I could never keep them nice for the next halloween.

• Pro tip: when sticking these to your walls and ceilings, I recommend using command strips so you don’t cause any damage.

Number 4 – Halloween cards

These Hallmark Halloween cards are simple, have fun designs, and are blank on the inside allowing you to add any personalization you want. You can write a message, or create a fun DIY illustration on the inside like these Frankenstein handprints I made with my kids.

Levitate these floating candles in your home! Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or not, these candles add a magical element to any space. I hung these candles in my hallway for Halloween and they look so good.

I ordered the 20 pack of the warm white candles. And the remote? It’s a wand! The candles are magically battery operated. The flame has a nice flicker, too. The wand remote turns them on and off with a swish and flick–aka a push of a button.

To hang these candles, thread fishing line through the candle, add a battery, and use command hooks to stick to your ceiling. When they’re all up and floating, they create the most magical atmosphere. You can even use these for Christmas!

Numbers 2 & 1 – Flickering Flameless Pumpkin Lights

These are grouped because they are similar products, but in very different sizes. Use these flickering pumpkin lights in your real and faux Jack-o-Lanterns this spooky season. Nothing beats a candle-lit Jack-o-Lantern, but these lights come really close.

I’ve tried a bunch of flameless lights and these are my favorite. I bought them back in 2019, and now I have four of them. Flameless lights are a safe alternative to candles, especially if you have kids. These lights are battery powered and remote operated. You can dim or brighten their lights, keep them flickering, or turn on a steady light.

I bought these large white pumpkin lights last year and are perfect for larger pumpkins, like my terracotta Jack-o-Lantern.
