Trader Joe’s Dumpling Bake in Yellow Thai Sauce is an easy, one-pan dinner made with frozen potstickers, Thai curry sauce, coconut milk, spinach, and bold toppings like chili onion crunch. This viral Trader Joe’s recipe comes together in a 9×13 baking dish and can be made with chicken or vegetable dumplings. We tested both red and yellow Thai curry sauces and found the yellow sauce delivers a slightly earthy, milder flavor, while the red offers more sweetness. If you’re looking for a cozy, weeknight meal using mostly Trader Joe’s ingredients, this dumpling bake is simple, flavorful, and perfect served over rice or quinoa.

I don’t usually make TikTok dishes, but this viral Trader Joe’s dumpling bake in yellow Thai sauce looked too good to skip. We love a dumpling. I love them even more when all you need to do is grab a few ingredients from Trader Joe’s and throw them into one pan.

We’ve tried this recipe a few ways. The original recipe called for red Thai sauce, however, I picked up yellow by mistake. Since we first made this, I tried the original recipe with the red Thai sauce. While both are good, I prefer the yellow, while Brian prefers the red Thai sauce.

Brian and I also made this with vegetable and chicken potstickers and we prefer the chicken. The vegetable potstickers are good, too–however, there’s a savory flavor the chicken ones add to this.

Once you’re in the kitchen, everything goes into the same pan (something like a 9 x 13 pan), then covered while baking. As a base or side, you can make quinoa, brown rice, or other vegetables to go with your dumplings. Since these are pre-packaged, watch your sodium. It’s easy to eat a dozen of these!

This is a bowl you’ll want to eat any time it’s cold. It makes a great meal, side, or appetizer.
