Sweet and Salty Chocolate Covered Pretzels


  • Bag of pretzels
  • Baker’s Chocolate
  • Wax Paper
  • Dash of vegetable oil
  • Sugar


  1. Heat up your chocolate on medium to low heat, add a dash of vegetable oil.
  2. Keep stirring until chocolate is completely melted.
  3. Add sugar to taste.  Baker’s chocolate can be very bitter.  Add sugar to your liking.  I don’t want to put an exact amount here because I don’t know myself.  I kept adding it in, stirring, tasting, repeating.
  4. Move to a small, deep bowl.
  5. Place a sheet of wax paper over your cookie sheet.
  6. Take the pretzels and dip them into the chocolate.
  7. Use a fork to take them out and let the extra chocolate drop off.
  8. Place them down on the wax paper and continue.
  9. When the sheet is full, stick them in the fridge.
