Description
This baby-friendly puree blends roasted pears, peanut butter, and fresh rosemary for a smooth, flavorful meal that’s nutritious and surprisingly irresistible.
Ingredients
- 4 ripe pears (Bartlett pears recommended)
- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp of rosemary, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Peel and slice pears into out 8 slices each.
- Toss pears in the olive oil to coat evenly.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and spread slices evenly onto it.
- Roast in the oven for 30 minutes until golden.
- Let them cool slightly and pulse them to a mixer (or smash with fork) until you have the desired consistency.
- Our son is learning how to chew, so we left some small chunks.
- Stir in the peanut butter and rosemary.
- Store in a container.
Notes
- Contains almond/peanut butter.
- We used mini mason jelly jars to store the extras. It can stay fresh in the fridge for 2-3 days.
