Description

This baby-friendly puree blends roasted pears, peanut butter, and fresh rosemary for a smooth, flavorful meal that’s nutritious and surprisingly irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears (Bartlett pears recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp of rosemary, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Peel and slice pears into out 8 slices each.
  3. Toss pears in the olive oil to coat evenly.
  4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and spread slices evenly onto it.
  5. Roast in the oven for 30 minutes until golden.
  6. Let them cool slightly and pulse them to a mixer (or smash with fork) until you have the desired consistency.
  7. Our son is learning how to chew, so we left some small chunks.
  8. Stir in the peanut butter and rosemary.
  9. Store in a container.

Notes

  • Contains almond/peanut butter.
  • We used mini mason jelly jars to store the extras. It can stay fresh in the fridge for 2-3 days.
