- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 package of milk or dark chocolate Hershey Kisses (70 count bag)
- 1/2 cup sugar in a small bowl, set aside for rolling dough
Instructions
- Take out the butter to soften to room temperature.
- Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet mixture until combined.
- Fill a small soup bowl with 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Using a standard cookie scoop, scoop dough, roll them into balls, and dust around in the bowl of sugar. Place them on a cookie sheet.
- Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the cookie sheet from the oven, and immediately push a Hershey kiss into the center of each cookie. Cool for 5-10 minutes until they firm up.
- Move cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
