Description

What makes this Chex Mix fit for the holidays is part tradition and part Christmas-colored m&ms.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 cups corn Chex
  • 3 cups rice Chex
  • 2 cups whole wheat Chex
  • 1 cup Golden Grahams
  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 2 cups bite-sized pretzels
  • 1 cup everything-flavored bagel chips
  • 1 cup Gardetto’s rye chips
  • 14 tbsp (1 3/4 sticks) butter, melted
  • 5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp truffle seasoned salt (or just do 2 tsp kosher salt)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 10 oz (1 bag) of holiday-colored M&Ms to add in at the end

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
  2. In the largest bowl you have available, mix together all Chex cereals, Golden Grahams, nits, pretzels, bagel chips, and rye chips.
  3. In a smaller bowl, mix together butter, Worcestershire sauce, salts, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Pour liquid over the Chex mix.
  5. Gently stir so everything is evenly coated (as much as possible). Do this for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place in a large dutch oven, baking dish, or on a few cookie sheets and place in the oven.
  7. Bake for 1 hour and stir every 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and spread over paper towels to absorb any excess liquid.
  9. Cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
