Description

Quick cornbread recipe that yields some of the moistest cornbread I’ve ever had. Use boxed mix and add in your own ingredients for a homemade taste.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 boxes Jiffy Corn Bread
  • 2/3 cups evaporated canned milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl (but don’t over mix).
  3. Pour batter into a sheet pan place in the oven until cooked through, approximately 20 minutes.
  4. When done baking, remove from the oven and immediately add a thin layer of butter to the top.
  5. Let cool for 10-15 minutes, but make sure to enjoy these warm.
