Money comes back, but Beyoncé won’t, or at least not for another two years. When I saw her Renaissance Tour in Philadelphia, I was blown away. So when she announced the Cowboy Carter tour, I had to go again. This time, I went with my sister (again) and my husband.

We scored tickets in the Beyhive presale, section 113, row 3 at MetLife. The seats were amazing. Sure, the price stung a bit, but remember what I said about money?
I’ve been a Beyoncé fan since Destiny’s Child. I recently performed “Bills, Bills, Bills” at a Chinese restaurant–by–day-karaoke-club–by–night spot in New Hampshire.
Beyoncé is a living legend. Her cultural impact is enormous, and Cowboy Carter felt so rich and personal. It pairs perfectly with a glass of Sir Davis.

Beyoncé Concert GRWM: Outfit Inspiration
For my Beyoncé concert GRWM, the theme was denim on denim on denim–cowboy flair with fringe.
I went with a vintage fringe jacket, a plain white tee, light-wash bell bottoms, leopard heels, a pink cowboy hat, and a chunky gold chain. I kept my boho braids in just so I could rock that hat. My sister brought up a bunch of hats for the weekend, and I picked one she didn’t wear.

The look felt comfortable in my skin, stylish, and perfect for dancing with Beyoncé.
My husband took inspiration from one of his favorite songs on the album, going head-to-toe denim: a Levi’s jean jacket, a Levi’s x Beyoncé vintage tee, American Eagle jeans, and white Nikes.

For a Memorial Day weekend in New York, it was cold, but that gave us the excuse to layer up denim on denim on denim.
Beyoncé Concert GRWM: Hair & Makeup
My nails–cow-inspired, naturally–they deserve their own post someday.
I usually go pretty natural with makeup, but for this Beyoncé concert GRWM, I reached for a bold red lip (I’ll add the exact shade soon). My sister had just done my boho braids for Mother’s Day.

Beyoncé Concert GRWM: Pre-Game Vibes
Beyoncé’s greatest hits were on repeat all day. We tried not to overplay Cowboy Carter right before the show, wanting to keep some of the magic for the live performance.
My sister stayed with us, and my younger sisters came over to watch the kids, so the house turned into a mini dance party while we all got ready.
I packed some snacks, waters, and Sir Davis for a parking lot pregame.
We arrived about three hours before showtime and grabbed a late lunch around the corner before heading to the lot. Once we parked, we had a full photo shoot–cloudy skies, a windy sunset, and Beyoncé blasting through the speakers.
Around 6 p.m. we went into the stadium for another round of photos…

Beyoncé Concert GRWM: The Show
I’m still recovering from that night. My husband might actually have post-concert blues. This was his first time seeing Beyoncé live. Honestly, seeing her in concert is a life-changing experience.
From the moment she stepped out after “American Requiem,” singing “It’s a lot of talkin’ goin’ on…While I sing my song. Can you hear me? I said, do you hear me?”, the energy was unreal. The production value alone was worth every penny–the visuals, the costumes, the staging, every detail was on point.

I loved every moment. The career-spanning medley in the middle was incredible. Watching her move through her eras and blend songs so effortlessly was a masterclass in performance. The visuals were breathtaking. I can’t even pick a single favorite moment because it was all perfect.
Brian’s highlight was the transition from “Texas Hold ’Em” straight into “Crazy in Love,” which was so good.
After the concert, we made a quick bathroom stop and tried to beat the traffic, but ended up stuck in the lot for about 45 minutes. We were so hyped from the show that we didn’t mind, replaying every moment in our heads.
Beyoncé Concert GRWM: Final Thoughts
Next time–and I’m counting on Act iii in 2027–I’d skip the bathrooms and run straight for the car. Our seats in in section 113 in Metlife Stadium were incredible, but I might try a section 114 next time for a more angled view of the stage. Being in row 3 was unforgettable–I would absolutely splurge for that again.

We even saw Mama Tina come out to the pit to judge the outfits, which made the night even more fun.
Have you seen Beyoncé in concert? Tell me all about it.
